Report on Stakeholder Engagement and Networking Events

The paramount objectives of WP6 are (1) promoting the newly established SINERGY Regional Centre of Excellence in smart energy management; (2) raising awareness about the SINERGY key exploitable results; (3) outreach and engagement with different types of stakeholders including the wider public.

Currently, the web site has been divided into two main Sections:

Dissemination and Communication Plan

This document outlines the envisioned Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation strategy of the SINERGY project, as well as the specific objectives of dissemination activities until the end of the project. Furthermore, it reports on continuing dissemination activities of the SINERGY project in the first six months. It is a first deliverable of WP6 which is conceived as the marketing work-package of the project, but it also aims at sustaining project activities after the end of the project.

International SINERGY Conference on Smart Energy Management Technologies

The SINERGY work package 5 focuses on the organisation of joint project events that enable know-how exchange and provide with a “hands-on” experience in the domain of smart energy management. Deliverable 5.4 reports about the SINERGY International Conference on Smart and Innovative eNERGY management that was organised at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin premises from 26th to 28th of September 2023. The event gathered over 40 experts from the field, while one third of them were from abroad and two third from Serbia and the Region.

The Second SINERGY Workshop – Energy Efficient Building Operation

In the SINERGY WP5 framework, three workshops as a combination of training courses and lectures, hands-on experience, social and networking activities are foreseen. The goal is to increase the competence level of PhD students and other interested stakeholders in the domain of the SINERGY project.

This document provides a brief overview of collaborative efforts on various projects, work packages, tasks and individual services between Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP), Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) and National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). The collaborative actions are given as descriptions of the background motivation as well as the joint work that was conducted between the mentioned institutions.

The work package 4 is specifically dedicated to ensuring the involvement of IMP’s early-stage researchers in terms of providing adequate support by strategic partners as part of their training and (co-)mentoring activities. Hence, different staff exchange activities were conducted in the project framework. While in the first reporting period, this WP was affected by the COVID measures, in the years 2022 and 2023 the staff exchange activities continued as planned in the GA.
