Staff exchange (IMP, NUIG), Pilot 1 (AIT), February 2023

On 27th and 28th of February, the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) hosted researchers from the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP) and the National University of Galway (NUIG). The AIT team (Stöckl Johannes, Rao Bharath-Varsh, Ablinger Ron) proposed actions for the sustainability of the SINERGY partnership including ideas for new Horizon Europe projects.

International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing (North Macedonia), June 2023

The 30th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing, IWSSIP 2023 will be held in the ancient city of Ohrid, North Macedonia, a UNESCO world heritage site, known also as the Jerusalem of the Balkans due to numerous churches and monasteries, a city situated on the coast of the beautiful Ohrid Lake, 27 – 29 June, 2023 and hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.

The Third SINERGY Workshop – Belgrade’s Smart Energy Management laboratory

In the SINERGY WP5 framework, three workshops as a combination of training courses and lectures, hands-on experience, social and networking activities were foreseen. The PLATOON project pretends to deploy distributed/edge processing and data analytics technologies for optimized real-time energy system management in a simple way for the energy domain expert. The data governance among the different stakeholders for multi-party data exchange, coordination and cooperation in the energy value chain is guaranteed through IDS based connectors.

AI and Analytics for future energy prosumers, September 2022

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, Ms. Marija Kujačić and Ms. Aleksandra Perović (representatives of the IT and eGovernment office of the Republic of Serbia) and Mr. Isaac Kim (representatives of the Korean Information Society Agency) visited the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP) with the objectives to raise discussion on the utilization of IMP innovative services in the forthcoming Government Energy Saving Action Plan for the period from 2023 to 2025. 

The SINERGY team (Mr. Marko Batić, Mr. Nikola Tomašević and Ms. Valentina Janev) presented results from recent EU projects.
