Workshop Overview

Agentic AI refers to Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems designed to function as autonomous or semi-autonomous agents. Such systems can understand high-level goals, decompose them into actionable tasks, and execute these tasks with minimal human intervention.

The 8th International Knowledge Graph and Semantic Web Conference (KGSWC 2026) invites original, high-quality research contributions from researchers, practitioners, and industry experts working in the areas of Knowledge Graphs, Semantic Web, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Engineering.

ERIGrid 2.0 is organising together with SINERGY and RESili8 an online training series on 19-22 February 2024 related to the digitalisation of smart energy systems. Targeting students, young professionals, as well as researchers, the training event is split into the following four parts:

14th International Conference on Information Society and Technology will take place on Kopaonik, Serbia on Mar 10-13, 2024.

IWSSIP brings together researchers and developers from both academia and industry to report on the latest scientific and theoretical advances, to discuss and debate major issues and to demonstrate state-of-the-art systems. Following the successful events previously held in Budapest, Manchester, Poznan, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, Prague, Chalkida, Rio de Janeiro, Sarajevo, Vienna, Dubrovnik, London, Osijek, Niteroi and Sofia, IWSSIP was organized in in the ancient city of Ohrid, North Macedonia, from 27th to 29th June, 2023. 

We are glad to announce the SINERGY Open Day at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (29th of December 2023) with the following Agenda:

The lecture entitled Methods and Future Scenarios for Strategic Grid Development of Full Low and Medium Voltage DSO Supply Areas by Barbara Herndler was deliverered on 11th of December 2023.

This workshop was especially designed for the participation of young researchers from Serbia, Ireland, and Austria and with the prime objective to start the creation of a network for future collaborations between the three Sinergy institutions.

During the summer visit of NUIG researchers in Belgrade, a tentative plan was made for IMP young researchers to visit NUIG during the early or late fall of 2023 before the project comes to an end thus making the most use of the opportunity provided by the SINERGY project. With this unique opportunity in mind, the visit was scheduled for the final week of November 2023 as a 5-day-long stay in Galway, Ireland, as presented in the Figure below. 

On 14th of December 2023, in the Technology Transfer Office of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP), the AIT Team (Mr. Zoran Miletić, Mr. Roland Bründlinger and Mrs. Anja Banjac) conducted a training for the IMP staff. Guest at the event were researchers from the Institute Nikola Tesla, School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade and Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. 

The lectures related to the Integration of DER in Smart Grids  were divided as follows:
