In March 2023, the Institute Mihajlo Pupin Team visited the Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Višegrad in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to install additional measuring equipment for monitoring physical quantities (pressure, level, flow, slope, ...) in the process of electricity production.
On 14th of February, Valentina Janev, SINERGY Project Manager visited the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Skopje, North Macedonia. During the visit, a meeting was organized with the Faculty Dean Mr. Dimitar Taškovski and his Team.
POLICY ANSWERS projects (R&I POLICY making, implementation ANd Support in the WEsteRn BalkanS) aims at supporting regional cooperation and closer integration of the Western Balkans (WBs) in the EU’s actions towards a digital, green and healthy future. On Thursday, September 29, 2022, Ms. Marija Kujačić and Ms. Aleksandra Perović (representatives of the IT and eGovernment office of the Republic of Serbia) and Mr. Isaac Kim (representatives of the Korean Information Society Agency) visited the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (IMP) with the objectives to raise discussion on the utilization of IMP innovative services in the forthcoming Government Energy Saving Action Plan for the period from 2023 to 2025.

It is our great pleasure to announce the SINERGY Open event on "Smart and Innovative eNERGY management", collocated with the TELFOR'22 Conference, Crowne Plaza, on 16th of November, from 9am to 1pm.
Typhoon HIL is the technology and market leader in Ultra-high fidelity Hardware in the Loop (HIL) solutions for design, testing, and validation of power electronics, microgrids, e-Mobility, EV powertrain software testing, and distribution control and protection systems.
Typhoon HIL visited the Institute Mihajlo Pupin and discussed with the SINERGY Team (IMP and AIT) the possibilities for research and commercial collaboration in the coming years.
According to the European Commission (EC-Directorate for Energy) a smart grid is the electricity network that integrates the behavior and actions of all users connected to it (generators, consumers and those that do both), in order to ensure economically efficient, the sustainable power system with low losses and high levels of quality and security of supply and safety.
