The availability of appropriate, application-oriented standards and codes is a key prerequisite to streamline the integration of PV into the electricity grids and ensure interoperability, reliability and efficiency even under high-penetration scenarios.

The training course will give an insight into the key elements of today's grid connection standards in Europe plus a comparison with selected standards from the U.S. and Asia. In addition, recommendations for the implementation of future standards and codes will be provided, based on international experiences.
