Capacity building in Smart and Innovative eNERGY management

Data Management Plan

This document entitled “Data Management Plan” (DMP) outlines the strategy for data management to be applied throughout the course of the SINERGY project, as well as the actions that will be taken after the SINERGY project ends. It is based on the “Guidelines on Data Management in Horizon 2020” document and follows the FAIR Data management principles.

In particular, DMP is related to the artifacts (datasets, training courses, lectures, software core) that will be used in the knowledge transfer activities involving the SINERGY demonstration pilots

  • Pilot 1 – Smart Grid Technologies, aimed to demonstrate grid-level techniques and technologies (such as relevant smart grid concepts and integration of distributed smart grid elements), see AIT facilities (EnergyBase, TechBase);
  • Pilot 2 – Energy Efficient Building Operation, aimed to demonstrate building level optimization approaches (such as building modeling and improving building operation efficiency), thus ensuring exchange of complementary know-how and expertise which covers both energy supply and energy consumption side, see NUIG Alice Perry Engineering Building;
  • Testbed pilot that will be set up at IMP premises (see “Blue building”), providing a training site for direct deployment of advanced technologies delivered by the strategic partners.

The DMP will be updated in the course of the project whenever significant changes arise, in addition to the periodic evaluation/assessment of the project.
