Capacity building in Smart and Innovative eNERGY management

Quality Control Plan and Contingency Measures

The SINERGY Quality Control Plan (QCP) is established with the goal to ensure that the quality control and risk management requirements are planned appropriately. It defines the internal control procedures (specific for SINERGY, see Section 2), which are also in line with the quality management system adopted by the coordinating organization - the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (ISO 9001 certified). QCP will be implemented as part of Task 1.3 Monitoring, quality control and impact assessment that lasts during the whole project lifetime and includes: assessment of project progress and quality of the results, comparison with quantifiable measures of success, keeping detailed project plan up to date, detailed reporting on all the discrepancies, their justification and re-planning, a compilation of management documentation, a thorough review of the deliverables provided by other Work package leaders (see Project Management Plan), etc. Independent experts from strategic partner organizations (AIT and NUIG) have been appointed to regularly conduct project quality control as well.

This deliverable summarizes also

  • the critical implementation risks and mitigation actions (Section 3)
  • the monitoring and impact analysis framework (Section 4) that includes two levels, firstly the advancement in career of target groups (IMP senior/junior staff) and, secondly, the knowledge transfer partnership with involved collaborating organizations (academia, public sector, industry).
